Ready-Set-Play! (Special Education)
MCOE Deaf and Hard of Hearing (D/HH) preschoolers and Toro Park kindergarteners are spinning, pulling, rocking, climbing and sliding together! Outdoor play is important to young children’s development. The exercise of large muscles provides coordination, and balance, which are necessary for using the hands and eyes at the same time. The Toro Park Preschool Playground Project was funded by a sizable grant from our friends at the Monterey Peninsula Foundation, as well as donations from several faithful benefactors.
